I had the most wonderful month at 55Petals
Nasha Raina Rahim , sent on 30/11/2025

I had the most wonderful month at 55Petals. The nurses took such amazing care of both me and my baby. Their patience, gentleness, and professionalism made me feel so supported throughout my recovery. Jessie, who manages the centre, is truly exceptional: kind, attentive, and always ready to help.

The facilities were great too. My room was very comfortable and kept spotless daily by the kakaks. The classes they arranged were incredibly informative and gave me so much confidence as a first-time mum.

Overall, I had such a relaxing and healing start to my postpartum journey here at 55Petals. I’m so grateful for the experience and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any expecting mother.

I was very sad to leave 55 Petals

I was very sad to leave 55 Petals. My confinement experience was a pleasant one and I enjoyed it. Areas of improvement down below.

Nurses: I want to send my heartfelt thanks to the nurses of both day and night shifts, it's not easy taking care of a room filled with babies crying all at the same time. You will see one nurse holding a baby in one hand and writing records and a leg on the bassinet trolley moving it back and forth to lull a baby to sleep. Talk about MULTITASKING! The nurses do care about these little ones and on our last day, one could sense their sadness as they've bonded with the little ones for almost a month! So thank you, nurses Nida, Jackie, Mika, Saha, April, Ika and Amsha.
Be sure to find out about the nurses' work ethics if you're looking at another confinement centre, because not all have genuine care and love for your little one. Nurses, I really hope you're paid very well and have ample benefits to reward your hard work and love!

Manager: Thank you, Jessie for taking care of us mothers. She is like the mother of the mothers and grandma to the babies. Although some may not agree with all her views and perspectives, it's worth noting that she has a genuine interest in both mothers' and babies' wellbeing. Thank you for organising sessions for us to know ourselves and babies better. Also, Jessie is prompt in listening to the mothers, for example, the AC in my room was leaking and Jessie arranged for the repairman the very next day to get it fixed.

Food: Personal opinion, food is good. It's a lot of food and I am so well fed. Very important if you're breastfeeding or pumping as it burns so much calories! Sidenote, some may not enjoy the food as it can be quite oily, salty or bland at times. Despite that, thank you, Chef, for cooking five meals a day for us and cooked almost all by yourself! It's not easy.

Environment: Lovely, calm environment with trees and greeneries. Bonded with other mommies and friendships were made!

After service: FANTASTIC! Although I've left 55 Petals, the WhatsApp group is still there to support first time moms like me as we navigate motherhood at home. I've asked questions and posed concerns about my newborn now that I'm home (clueless and worried mom) and the nurses have been very kind to answer my concerns and advised me on what to do. MANY THANKS AND APPRECIATION!

Areas of improvement:
1) I suspect there is a leaking roof that really needs to be looked into. Whenever it rained heavily, there is leaking in my room. Looking up the ceiling I could see many water marks and tiny holes caused by prolonged leakages. There are signs of molding too and this is a huge concern since mold can cause harm to newborns when exposed to the spores. I understand this is a rented property, and there's nothing that can be done if the owner decides not to do anything. But careful action should still be taken since newborns room in with mothers.

2) Perhaps it's also time to do a room by room check on facilities and furniture maintenance. Maybe I'm just being picky, my room table is a little wobbly due to the worn off glue sticking to the wall, the chairs/ sofas could also do some steam cleaning. Aerosparkle can do the job if you're looking.

I had a truly wonderful experience staying in 55 Petals
Melody Leong , sent on 30/11/2025

I had a truly wonderful experience staying in 55 Petals~ The environment is cozy and peaceful, is a perfect place for recovery and bonding with my baby.

The food here is absolutely amazing, delicious, healthy, and full of variety. For 29 days, I enjoyed 5 meals a day, and not a single dish was repeated! Every meal was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully balanced.

The nurses here deserve a big award. They are friendly, patient, and very experienced. The pressure of 2-3 hours wake up at a time in the month adhoc and manage to get the baby to the reasonable weight deserves applause and compliment 👏

As a first-time mom, I came in like a blank sheet of paper, knowing nothing about caring for a newborn. But thanks to their guidance and encouragement, I have learned so much and gained confidence. I have become very close with all the nurses and kakak here, they truly made me feel at home.

A special shoutout to the housekeeper too. She’s incredibly kind and hardworking. She keeps my room spotless, does my laundry neatly, and even takes the initiative to place my herbal bath thermo flask in the bathroom every day. I’m really grateful for her thoughtfulness.

And most importantly, thank you to Jessie Mommy, she’s just like a mother to me. Always caring, attentive, and full of valuable advice and experienced. I have learned so much from her and felt deeply supported throughout my stay. Sending her lots of love ❤️

This confinement center truly exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommended to all new mommies!

55 Petal CC

If you looking for really quiet and peaceful environment during your confinement period
Hazel Yap , sent on 31/10/2025

If you looking for really quiet and peaceful environment during your confinement period, 55 Petals is a quite good choices as it is located at resident area, not like most of the confinement centre usually at shop lots. Aside from that, the vibes here are really good. Nursery, janitor and the management team are really friendly and helpful. During my confinement, I had any question you want to ask, you can ask the nursery, they are all ready and had professional knowledge to help and support my stay over here.

Jessie (the management team) also is here to support me and she is really friendly. She will time to time come to check on me and cares on how I would feel, anything I dont like from here or the food got any comment or dont like to eat, she is willingly to change and arrange the food that suit your taste.

It was an incredible and amazing experience for my wife and I

It was an incredible and amazing experience for my wife and I staying at 55 Petals confinement centre for the past 28 days. My wife and my baby were well taken care of by the nurses all day, all night (2 shifts). Furthermore, the nursery crew were courteous and friendly, best of all, they’re professionally trained to handle babies, not forgetting the janitors and kitchen crew as well. But limelight is still the manager or person in charge named Jessie (refer to enclosed photos), she is one of the reasons why you should highly consider this establishment for your confinement period. She supervises and monitors the daily operation of the centre, from enlightening and entertaining her guests to preparing the meals for the confinement mothers. Basically, you can count on her for your whatever needs or requests as she will do her best to fulfill them.

Another reason of my recommendation would be the serene and peaceful location as the premise is located deep within a residential zone which only has a way in/out filtering the noise from traffic. Ample space for the Suite and Premium category rooms, enough to fit a party of 3-4 pax (father, mother, children (if any) and their newborn). Besides, there will be weekly classes focusing on parenthood, CPR for babies, enlightenment of colic and etc which are very useful for first timer parents.

As a matter of fact, what I actually miss the most was the fun times of being a house resident with other fathers and mothers living under the same roof, sharing stories and good times together. From total strangers to establishing friendship, like as if I was on a reality tv show as one of the participants. Bottomline, my wife and I had a great time enjoying her confinement over here. We will definitely return to patronize this place should we ever be blessed with another lil angel. Once again, thank you very much 55 Petals for all the good memories, assistance and knowledge shared with us.

55 Petals was a fantastic experience for baby, mummy, and daddy!
Daniel Khong , sent on 31/07/2025

TL;DR: 55 Petals was a fantastic experience for baby, mummy, and daddy!

Tucked away in a quiet hilltop corner right in the heart of bustling PJ, 55 Petals felt like a serene sanctuary. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the professional team of nurses and the ever-attentive PIC, Jessie.

Every day felt like a new learning experience—filled with classes, tips, and gentle guidance to ensure baby received the best care possible.

As first-time parents, we were incredibly grateful for how attentively the team looked after both mummy and baby. They loved our little one like their own little brother, and their firm yet tender approach showed—baby was thriving at every clinic visit.

From daddy’s perspective, the stay was exceptionally comfortable. I could always turn to the team for advice or a quick chat. Getting around—from clinics to JPN, home, and work—was a breeze. Honestly, 55 Petals felt like a second home.

There are plenty of confinement homes in town, no doubt. But if you’re looking for one that feels both homely and expertly run, I’d wholeheartedly recommend 55 Petals—where you’re treated not just like clients, but like family.
