Just completed my 28 days confinement at Lili Retreat and this is truly the best decision we made during the pregnancy journey.

My husband and I visited Lili Retreat when we were 3 months pregnant with our little one and we instantly fell in love with the cozy environment and friendly staffs.

During our stay there, all of them took really good care of my baby and I. Grace and Shiau Huei were really helpful in answering our doubts and also helping us arrange all the activities for relaxation and also recovery. Not to forget, the meals are superb!!

Special shoutout to all the nursery staff (Dayana, Joy, Nory, Lorie, Abby)! They have been great help to a first-time mom like me and they are so patient with my baby and also answering all my doubts!

The rooms are always clean and tidy thanks to the housekeeping team and delicious meals are always served warm and on time thanks to the kitchen team.

Will definitely come back here for confinement again (if we have a second one) 

*Confinement*
I visited a few confinement centres before deciding, and immediately fell in love with how peaceful and spacious this centre felt. Unlike many other confinement centres located in commercial buildings, which often made me feel trapped or “confined,” this place offers fresh air, natural sunlight, and a calming environment.

Most importantly, the centre never felt crowded, and both my baby and I received attentive, dedicated care and support. As a first-time mom, I truly appreciated being able to rest well and enjoy nourishing meals every day. Special thanks to the nursery nurses, especially the night shift team, for taking such wonderful care of my baby and ensuring she was always comfortable and happy.

*Daycare*
A few months after completing my confinement stay, my husband and I planned a short trip. We had no hesitation sending our baby back for daycare because we knew she would be cared for with genuine love and attention, just like their own child.

I highly recommend this place to all mamas looking for a comfortable and trustworthy confinement centre and/ or daycare. The pricing is also very reasonable for the quality of care and service provided.

We stayed at Lili Retreat for 32 days and had a wonderful experience. The staff were amazing – incredibly friendly, supportive, and clearly very caring with our baby, which gave us great peace of mind. The nursery team in particular were fantastic. Special thanks to Joy, Dayana, Anne, Nory, Abby and Lorie (and anyone we might have missed!) – they were all amazing and we always felt Lily was in very good hands.

The meals were excellent and my wife really enjoyed them. Even over a full month there was a good variety, and the special couples dining night was beautifully arranged and exceeded our expectations.

We stayed in rooms 5 and 8, and both were comfortable and well maintained. The team were also extremely helpful whenever we had to step out, even helping prepare things for us when we needed to take Lily out for appointments such as getting her birth certificate. Special thanks to Shiau Hui and Grace for being so helpful and accommodating.

The training classes were another highlight and very useful for new parents. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily return if we have another child. We would definitely recommend Lili Retreat to friends. Thank you to the whole team!

From mummy: our little bun was born with low birth weight so we were extra worried about her jaundice levels and putting on enough weight. Our baby left the centre four weeks later with a healthy weight and did not need any phototherapy for jaundice. As we are new parents, we couldn't have achieved it without the nursery staff here. For this alone, I will always be grateful to Lili retreat. It was a difficult and emotional time for me and I felt every bit of sincere support from all members of staff. So thank you so much!

The nursing team has been nothing but the best we could ask for. Dayana, Norry, Lorrie, Anne, Abby, Joy and the whole team has been attentive to the babies and does their best to care for both of us. Together with all the other team members, our stay has been great. While nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement , the people at Lili has definitely made us feel home.

I delivered a month earlier than expected, and Lili Retreat was incredibly understanding to allowed me to check in early and even accommodated my preferred room choice.

I also requested less meat in my meals, and the kitchen team was happy to swap in more plant-based options so I could still get sufficient protein for recovery. They thoughtfully adjusted my herbal tonic soups based on feedback from the TCM doctor, which genuinely helped me feel better. I really appreciated how flexible and attentive they were to my needs.

⭐️ Exceptional Baby Care in the Nursery
One key reason I chose Lili was due to maximum of 8 babies in the nursery with a 1:2 nurse-to-baby ratio. Throughout my stay, I observed (both in person and via CCTV) how patiently the nurses comforted, burped, and soothed my baby. They were attentive, experienced and quick to respond to his needs which gave me immense peace of mind.

Whenever I brought my baby out, the nurses would also thoughtfully prepare a fully packed diaper bag with all essentials. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly and professionally. I’m truly grateful to the entire nursing team for their dedication and care.

⭐️ Other Things I Liked
- High hygiene standards- daily housekeeping for my room and daily sterilisation of the baby nursery.
- Postnatal massage, aromatherapy facial, and sound bath sessions were relaxing and pampering.
- Fun hands-on activities for moms and a lovely couple’s high tea/dinner arrangement.

🔎 Room for Improvement
- While the confinement meals were generally delicious, some side dishes and noodles tasted slightly bland, and ingredients could feel repetitive over time.
- I would have liked more baby-focused educational sessions (e.g., infant CPR, lactation sharing) instead of talks by baby product/formula companies.
- The pediatrician and TCM visits didn’t add much value for me personally, as they often coincided with my own hospital appointments.

Overall, I would highly recommend Lili Retreat to mothers who are looking for a more chill and serene environment to rest, recover, and have expert baby care support before starting motherhood.

I highly recommend lili retreat confinement center!! As a first time being a parents, the nurses are highly knowledgeable and experience on how to take care of mommies and babies. Foods are superb, delicious and good for mommies after give birth! Services are 5 stars! To those who read this comment, I highly recommend you to consider this confinement. Can confirm Lili Retreat lives up to its name, my month long confinement did feel like a “retreat” and was the best start to our journey of parenthood. It felt very much like home, thanks to the warmest welcome we received from when we first stepped foot in the centre (was very much appreciated after the experience of giving birth!), to the level of service we received daily from each member of the staff and nursery team. Special shout out to Didi, Shiau Hui and Dayana who went above and beyond for us and bub. The massage and yoga organised for the mothers were also exceptional and much needed. We are so glad we chose Lili, highly recommend this confinement centre to anyone looking for one!

I had a wonderful experience at Lili Retreat Confinement Centre From the moment I checked in, I felt completely cared for and supported. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely kind — they treated both me and my baby with so much warmth and respect.

The environment was clean, calm, and beautifully designed for rest and recovery. The food was nutritious, well-balanced, and delicious — tailored perfectly for postpartum healing. I especially appreciated the daily herbal baths and personalised care routines, which helped me regain strength and confidence as a new mom.

The nurses were knowledgeable and patient, always ready to guide me through breastfeeding, newborn care, and recovery tips. I left the centre feeling rejuvenated, empowered, and well-prepared to continue my motherhood journey.

However, I did notice that the staff seemed overworked and exhausted at times. It gave me the impression that higher management may not be providing enough support or care for the team’s wellbeing. I believe that taking better care of such a hardworking and committed staff would greatly benefit both employees and clients alike.
