Lili was our choice after surveying multiple centres in the area for a few factors, dedicated nursing team, well designed spaces throughout the place, outdoor areas for views, and great location. The nursing team has been nothing but the best we could ask for. Dayana, Norry, Lorrie, Anne, Abby, Joy and the whole team has been attentive to the babies and does their best to care for both of us. Together with all the other team members, our stay has been great. While nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement , the people at Lili has definitely made us feel home.

As a husband, my main priority was ensuring my wife and newborn were in the best hands, and Lili Confinement exceeded every expectation.

The nursery staff are truly the stars of the show—their expertise and genuine care for our baby allowed me to rest easy knowing both my wife and child were safe and well-monitored.

The food was also incredible; the meals were so nutritious and well-prepared that I could see my wife’s energy returning day by day.

I also have to give a shout-out to the housekeeping team. They were efficient and kept our environment spotless without ever being intrusive. Seeing my wife so relaxed and supported made this investment worth every penny.

Shiau hui and grace was very prompt with our queries as well and gave us many constructive answers .

I had a truly wonderful confinement stay at Lili Retreat. After surveying several confinement centres, I chose Lili for its serene, spacious environment.

Sharing my sincere experience and review here after staying for 6 weeks:

⭐️ Accommodating & Always Going the Extra Mile
I delivered a month earlier than expected, and Lili Retreat was incredibly understanding to allowed me to check in early and even accommodated my preferred room choice.

I also requested less meat in my meals, and the kitchen team was happy to swap in more plant-based options so I could still get sufficient protein for recovery. They thoughtfully adjusted my herbal tonic soups based on feedback from the TCM doctor, which genuinely helped me feel better. I really appreciated how flexible and attentive they were to my needs.

⭐️ Exceptional Baby Care in the Nursery
One key reason I chose Lili was due to maximum of 8 babies in the nursery with a 1:2 nurse-to-baby ratio. Throughout my stay, I observed (both in person and via CCTV) how patiently the nurses comforted, burped, and soothed my baby. They were attentive, experienced and quick to respond to his needs which gave me immense peace of mind.

Whenever I brought my baby out, the nurses would also thoughtfully prepare a fully packed diaper bag with all essentials. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly and professionally. I’m truly grateful to the entire nursing team for their dedication and care.

⭐️ Other Things I Liked
- High hygiene standards- daily housekeeping for my room and daily sterilisation of the baby nursery.
- Postnatal massage, aromatherapy facial, and sound bath sessions were relaxing and pampering.
- Fun hands-on activities for moms and a lovely couple’s high tea/dinner arrangement.

🔎 Room for Improvement
- While the confinement meals were generally delicious, some side dishes and noodles tasted slightly bland, and ingredients could feel repetitive over time.
- I would have liked more baby-focused educational sessions (e.g., infant CPR, lactation sharing) instead of talks by baby product/formula companies.
- The pediatrician and TCM visits didn’t add much value for me personally, as they often coincided with my own hospital appointments.

Overall, I would highly recommend Lili Retreat to mothers who are looking for a more chill and serene environment to rest, recover, and have expert baby care support before starting motherhood.

I highly recommend lili retreat confinement center!! As a first time being a parents, the nurses are highly knowledgeable and experience on how to take care of mommies and babies. Foods are superb, delicious and good for mommies after give birth! Services are 5 stars! To those who read this comment, I highly recommend you to consider this confinement. The price is reasonable or even slightly cheaper than most confinements!

Would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for the staff here at Lili retreat. Each and every one of them were so attentive and caring not only to my baby but also to my own wellbeing. Had the opportunity to learn so much from the nursing staff on how to care for my baby.
Their partner massage and lactation specialist was also a highlight and very knowledgable in their field.
Choosing Lili retreat was one of the best decisions for me and my new little family.

Can confirm Lili Retreat lives up to its name, my month long confinement did feel like a “retreat” and was the best start to our journey of parenthood. It felt very much like home, thanks to the warmest welcome we received from when we first stepped foot in the centre (was very much appreciated after the experience of giving birth!), to the level of service we received daily from each member of the staff and nursery team. Special shout out to Didi, Shiau Hui and Dayana who went above and beyond for us and bub. The massage and yoga organised for the mothers were also exceptional and much needed. We are so glad we chose Lili, highly recommend this confinement centre to anyone looking for one!

Truly want to thank you Didi, Dayana, Sarah, Lorie, Nory, Joy, Adda and everyone else whose names I may have missed- for taking such great care of my baby. I had a wonderful experience at Lili Retreat Confinement Centre From the moment I checked in, I felt completely cared for and supported. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely kind — they treated both me and my baby with so much warmth and respect.

The environment was clean, calm, and beautifully designed for rest and recovery. The food was nutritious, well-balanced, and delicious — tailored perfectly for postpartum healing. I especially appreciated the daily herbal baths and personalised care routines, which helped me regain strength and confidence as a new mom.

The nurses were knowledgeable and patient, always ready to guide me through breastfeeding, newborn care, and recovery tips. I left the centre feeling rejuvenated, empowered, and well-prepared to continue my motherhood journey.

The nursery team was excellent — always attentive and gentle with my baby. Thank you to everyone - Didi, Joy, Nory, Dayana, Lorie, Sarah, Adda, Mina, Abby, Hila, and others! A special thank you to Head Nurse, Didi, who truly stood out. She was caring, responsible, and highly professional, always ensuring both baby and I were well taken care of. Her dedication gave me great peace of mind throughout my stay.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to Manager Shiau Huei, who was very caring and responsible throughout my stay. She handled everything with great attention to detail and made sure that all my needs were met promptly and kindly.

However, I did notice that the staff seemed overworked and exhausted at times. It gave me the impression that higher management may not be providing enough support or care for the team’s wellbeing. I believe that taking better care of such a hardworking and committed staff would greatly benefit both employees and clients alike.
