LYC Mother & Child Centre provides professional confinement care that incorporates traditional Chinese confinement methods and professional Western medical practice aimed to help new mothers recover from the rigours of pregnancy, labour and birth.
Experienced doctors and nurses conduct regular check-ups to monitor the health of mother and baby to ensure timely recovery, while lactation experts guide new mothers on optimal breastfeeding techniques. Moms will enjoy five delicious, nutritious meals each day that are certified by nutritionists to provide the right nutritional balance to promote recovery. Incorporating traditional Chinese medicine, our diverse menu offers a gradual four-stage care regimen dedicated to detoxifying the liver and kidneys, improving circulation and lactation, rejuvenating and replenishing Qi.
In addition to wellness programs such as traditional Malay postnatal massage, Japanese energy hot stones, yoga and sound therapy, mothers can benefit from educational programs such as one-to-one baby care workshops and postnatal nutrition talks for the imminent adjustment in their lives with a newborn. Thanks again LYC for the pampering us the last 60 days
A W , sent on 23/08/2023Been three weeks after leaving from our stay of 60 days in LYC TTDI centre and I was still thinking about my wifey and son stay there. I was presently surprised by the hospitality and nursery care provided. 1. The customer service team was always attentive and helpful, yes all those we met were that good. 2. The food was as good as some restaurants if not better (the in house chefs were creative and generous and obliging), 3. The centre cleanliness and safety procedures are good to ensure everyone is safe. 4. The location of TTDI LYC need no introduction since it’s nested in a well established area, good food (if you still have spare room after the in-house meals) and amenities are all within walking distance. Finally and not the least, the centre staff showed us what customers care is when one of the CS went all the way out to help us re-validate my wife and son’s passport for the extended stay (yes, we came all the way from SG, that’s how good the preposition is for us). Thanks again LYC for the pampering us the last 60 days. All the best to the centre and the all the staffs too! (No pictures since other reviews already have tons of it!).

I want to say that if I have a chance to get pregnant again (which I probably won’t), I will definitely come back!
The reason I chose this place is because I personally believe in scientific confinement. Their meals are very good. They are all designed by nutritionists and Chinese medicine practitioners. Even the calories are calculated for me (even those with and without breast milk). There are recommended calories)
In addition, I prefer nurses to take care of my baby. At the same time, they also have pediatricians and lactation nurses who come to the room to check me and my baby every week! It really makes me, an anxious mother, feel relieved during confinement. Even my wound inflammation was discovered by the doctor and the nurse washed my wound every day (I can rest assured and let many professionals take care of me without going out)!
The customers here are also very professional. They will help me solve any problem no matter how big or small. They are very user-friendly and a completely five-star service. Ginger water for hair washing is also first-rate
