NURSERY

Our nursery provides for a safe environment where the comfort and healthcare needs of our newborn guests are taken care of. Each baby is provided with a crib that comes with its own CCTV camera and is monitored via online access.

A Medklinn air purifier ensures that the nursery air is always clean and free of impurities that may be harmful for the little ones.

MASSAGE ROOM

A treat for the Mummies, our massage room provides for the right ambience for one to lose themselves in a massage that will relax the body while rejuvenating the mind and soul.

RECREATIONAL AREA

We believe that the post partum period that is commonly known as the “Confinement” period should be anything but confining for the mother and her newborn baby.

Our approach encourages meaningful social interactions between the new mother and her newborn child, the new mother and her spouse & family, as well as with other new mothers. As such, we have ensured social and recreational areas that are best suited for small gatherings and group activity.

VISITOR AREA

A comfortable visitor area allows for guests to receive visitations from family members while not intruding on the peace and privacy of the other guests at the retreat.

KITCHEN

Although our kitchen is a “home” kitchen where food preparation is done on a more “individual” rather than on a commercial basis, it is fully equipped to cater to the requirements of our guests.

Our cooks are well trained in the preparation of specific cuisine that is best suited for the requirements of postnatal recovery.

We provide a range of message therapy by visiting professional masseuse. Traditional Malay massage, hot stone therapy and post-natal wraps are just some of the therapies that our guests will be able to enjoy.needed by new mothers.

4. IN ROOM ENTERTAINMENT

All our rooms come with smart TVs that allow our guests to surf the internet or watch their favourite movies and TV shows online via Netflix and Astro. The centre has broadband wifi that allows guests to roam the whole house whilestaying connected.

5. CLASSES & LEARNING ACTIVITIES

Visiting consultants will be conducting classes and consultations for our guests to pick up knowledge and skills in managing and looking after their babies. These classes would include topics such as breast-feeding & lactation, baby & mommy nutrition,baby massage, baby wearing etc.

6. SOCIAL TIME

To ensure that this time spent is both memorable and beneficial to the new mothers, we have a series of weekly activities that provide a good environment for socializing with other new mothers staying at our centre.

1. JAUNDICE MONITORING

Using the latest equipment to monitor jaundice, our staff will ensure that baby’s jaundice levels are within control.

2. BABY WEIGHT MONITORING

Our team of professional healthcare providers will monitor all new born babies’ weight to ensure that they are feeding and growing well.

3. BABY MASSAGE THERAPY CLASS

Our guests will be able to learn how to massage their babies the right way. These techniques will be soothing for babies, while creating important bonding through the power of touch. A visiting professional will conduct the class and each guest will have the opportunity for follow-up sessions even after they leave the retreat.

4. BABY CLOTHES

Our little guests do not have to worry about bringing a suitcase when they come to stay with us. Zinnia Fields will be providing all baby clothes for the duration of their stay at the retreat. Garments provided meet a quality standard that will ensure the safety and comfort of the babies.

5. BABY DIAPERS

Zinnia Fields will be providing disposable diapers for all babies during their stay with us. While our professional nurses and caregivers are on hand to change diapers and clean the babies, the new mothers (and even the stay-in new fathers) are encouraged to change their new babies diapers themselves. This is to ensure they are familiar and comfortable with the task. It also creates more opportunities for bonding between the new mothers and their newborn babies.

6. BLACK & WHITE CARDS EYE

Research has shown that the secret to infant stimulation lies in high-contrast colours. The development of a newborn’s eyes haven’t matured enough to perceive the values and intensities of multiple shades of colours. Black and white are the easiest for babies to perceive and interest in these starkly contrasting colours will pave the way for baby’s brain development.

Infant stimulation cards will help calm and soothe your baby while increasing concentration skills, enhancing natural curiosity, and stimulating the creation of brain cell connections.

Postnatal Diet/Food Plan

The food we serve at Zinnia Fields is all home cooked. Prepared using fresh ingredients, we serve meals that are nutritious, delicious and well suited for the needs of postnatal recovery.

A combination of traditional and contemporary recipes and cooking styles are used to ensure that the tastes of each of our guests and catered to. We ensure that our guests receive food that improves the immune system, helps with milk production and lactation, regains strength and energy.
